Originally from Brooklyn, New York, Frank has lived here in Indian Harbour Beach since 1973. In 2012, Frank retired after 35 years of teaching and coaching at Satellite High School. Having attended Eastern Kentucky University on a football scholarship, Frank went on to graduate with his Master's degree, and began his teaching and coaching career 1965.
Frank and his lovely wife, Joann, have been married for 54 years and have three grown children (Alicia, Brian and Matthew) who all attended Ocean Breeze Elementary, Hoover/DeLaura Middle Schools and Satellite High School. The Guertin's are thrilled that their son Brian and his wife Ashley have recently moved to our area with their children, Maizy, Talan and Saylor. While work and raising a family, Frank also coached Little League baseball and Joann was involved as a team mother, scorekeeper, and concessionaire.
Frank faithfully served as a member of the City's Planning and Zoning Board for 23 years and has served as an Indian Harbour Beach Council Member since 2013. Frank currently participates in the Florida League of Cities(FLC) Transportation and Intergovernmental Relations Committee, Space Coast Transportation Planning Organization(SCTOP), Space Coast League of Cities Governing Board, and Satellite Beach Public Library Advisory Board.
