The Indian
Harbour Beach Public Works Department helped install life-saving floatation rings beachside at two beach parks and three beach access areas. The rings are part of the “Drown Zero” program from the Cocoa Beach Rotary Club that places these “Throw – Don’t Go!” stations beachside for people to use in case of an emergency. The goal is to prevent drownings on the beach by providing people with a floatation ring to throw at those in need.
