Qualifying for City Council elections closed on August 15th with five people qualifying for two seats. The candidates for Seat 1 are Adam Dyer, David Nutt, and Doug Torpy. The candidates for seat 2 are Hamilton Boone and Susan Ruimy. The polling location will be the Council Chambers at City Hall from 7:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m. This is for precincts 409 and 411. There will not be early voting for this election, however, Indian Harbour Beach residents can still order mail ballots through the Supervisor of Elections website at www.votebrevard.gov The last date to request a mail ballot is October 26th.
