The motto of the Indian Harbour Beach Police Department “We serve… We care!” certainly says it all. Comprised of twenty full-time police officers, one reserve police officer, eight civilian personnel, and three crossing guards, the members of the department serve our citizens with dedication and pride, to ensure a safe community. Of the more than 5,000 calls for service that the officers respond to each year, approximately 12% of those are criminal in nature.
The Public Works Department of Indian Harbour Beach is dedicated to maintaining the safe and efficient operation of city vehicles, infrastructure, and upkeep of municipal property lawn maintenance. Led by a team of experienced professionals, our goal is to ensure that our community's roads are well-maintained and that all city and police department vehicles are in top working condition. We strive to be responsive to the needs of our community and provide transparent and accurate information about our operation.
