Staff Assistant Janet Tews comes to the city following her service in the United States Marine Corps. Additionally, she had a successful 20-year career in Banking. Her knowledge and positive attitude make her an asset to the City of Indian Harbour Beach.
The City of Indian Harbour Beach prides itself on the high quality of customer service we provide our residents, businesses, and visitors. Our city operates under the Council-Manager form of government where the City Council appoints a paid professional City Manager to oversee the City's day-to-day operations. By City Charter, the City Manager reports to the Mayor and City Council, who adopt policies for the Manager to carry out.
As City Manager, I am helping the community achieve my goal of excellence in local government. As a part of this goal, my door is always open. If for some reason my schedule does not permit me to meet with you, I will return your call or schedule a time when we can meet.
